Simon Cowell had reportedly been warned by his close female friends to be careful about his relationship with Lauren Silverman.
Sources told RadarOnline that Cowell's ex-girlfriends and close pals Sinitta, Jackie St Clair and Terri Seymour were always wary of Lauren, who is rumored to be 10-weeks pregnant with Cowell's baby, and had warned him against her on several occasions, News.com.au reported.
The 53-year old music mogul is apparently very shocked about the situation, as he had not planned on having a baby with Silverman.
Andrew Silverman has filed for divorce in New York citing 'adultery' as the reason for the split. Though the estranged couple has decided to settle the matter amicably they will be fighting for child custody.
