Cricket South Africa (CSA) has congratulated the Proteas squad for their impressive series win over Pakistan in the UAE, with one game to spare
According to Sport24, CSA chief executive Haroon Lorgat said that this success represented an important step forward in putting the Proteas back up among the game's leaders in the 50 overs format.
He said that the upcoming home series against Pakistan and India would further provide opportunity to continue the upward curve.
The final ODI will be played at Sharjah on Monday.
South Africa won the fourth one-day international against Pakistan by 28 runs on Friday in Abu Dhabi, taking an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series with one match remaining.
