Dalai Lama accused of sexism after prompting outrage on social media

People have taken to social media to accuse the Dalai Lama of sexism after he said that his successor could be a woman who must be "very attractive" else she would be "not much use".

According to The Huffington Post, the spiritual leader, when asked about the possibility of a female Dalai Lame, said if that happened, then their face should be "very attractive".

He also said that if a female Dalai Lama comes and they are not attractive then they are not of much use.
