The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday said there was no stumbling block in the party and also raised questions on the authenticity of the audio-clip which compelled Anjali Damania to quit.
"There is no setback. We will discuss over the matter of resignation of Anjali Damania. If she has any misunderstanding, then we will try to clear that," AAP spokesperson Ashutosh told ANI here.
"Who is Rajesh Garg? What is the authenticity of that audio? It is illegal to run any recording until it is approved to be authenticated," he added.
Damania earlier in the day quit the party and said that she had not joined the AAP for 'this nonsense'.
"I quit, I have not come into AAP for this nonsense. I believed him, I backed Arvind for principles not horse-trading," she tweeted.
