David Attenborough will be presenting three new shows for BBC that will feature documentaries on birds of paradise from New Guinea, ostriches and dinosaurs.
In the 'Waking Giants' documentary, described as the "pre-historic detective story," the 88-year-old broadcaster will follow the excavation of the largest known dinosaur skeleton, the BBC reported.
Another film will be on the appeal of birds of paradise from New Guinea and the third documentary will examine ostriches and other flightless birds.
BBC director general, Tony Hall, said that he thought it was the most ambitious range of natural history they have ever commissioned.
