Singer David Cassidy has got himself in trouble as he has been charged with hit-and-run for allegedly causing a car accident in Florida.
The police have reported that the 65-year-old was driving on a highway last month in Florida when he side-swiped a big rig truck and also stopped after the incident to hide his license plate, TMZ reports.
They also said that they found Cassidy's car at a hospital the day the incident took place. However, the singer that claimed that he was at the hospital for an unrelated appointment.
The 'I Can Feel Your Heartbreak' singer has been charged with expired tags, improper lane change, driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident.
