The key team behind 2014 hit 'Gone Girl,' David Fincher, Ben Affleck, Gillian Flynn are coming together, this time to remake Alfred Hitchcock's classic 'Strangers On a Train.'

According to the Verge, novelist/screenwriter Flynn would write the screenplay of this adaptation and update it for our time, tweaking the plot a bit while maintaining the original work.

Though the dates for filming or release have not been revealed yet, it is believed that Warner Bros. wants to fast-track it given the success of 'Gone Girl.
