David Fincher's 'Gone Girl' crosses $200M mark

David Fincher's thriller 'Gone Girl' has crossed the 200 million dollar mark at the global box office.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film, which is based on Gillian Flynn's novel of the same name, will soon overtake the filmmaker's The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (232.6 million dollars) and The Social Network (224.9 million dollars).

The Ben Affleck-Rosamund Pike starrer took in 20.2 million dollars, while New Line and Warner Bros.' horror prequel 'Annabelle' collected 19.2 million dollars internationally at the weekend box office.
