South Africa ODI captain A.B. de Villiers is expecting a highly motivated and confident Australian team to give them a 'little bit of payback' when the two sides face each other in November.

De Villiers said that he thinks the Australian team is very hungry, especially against South Africa after they beat them now in Zimbabwe. He added that he feels Australia would want to give them a little bit of payback and that would be a great challenge first of all.

South Africa is set to play a total of eight ODIs and three T20s in New Zealand and Australia. With the South Africans having beaten their opponents twice in three matches in Zimbabwe last month, De Villiers said that they were prepared for a backlash away from home, Sport24 reported.

De Villiers said that his side is a little bit inexperienced when it comes to touring over there with big crowds, adding that they get quite involved. He said that he got no doubt that his side has the skill and the talent to beat any side.

De Villiers felt South Africa could definitely win the five match series in Australia in November, especially since the team proved to be the better side between the two in the Triangular Series.

The skipper said that they can definitely win the series, adding that they showed that now against them, he believes they have got a bit of an edge over Australia.

De Villiers said that he is not going to make any silly statements but South Africa played the better cricket in Zimbabwe, adding that that is why they beat Australia. So he said that they would try and stick to the same kind of basics, respecting the fact that they are away from home and respecting the fact that they are playing a team with really good momentum and confidence at the moment.

Before squaring off against Australia, South Africa face New Zealand in a three match ODI series beginning next week, the report added.
