South Africa skipper AB de Villiers has lavished praise on Chris Morris' brilliant knock during his side's one-wicket win against England in the fourth test.

Morris, who scored a career-best innings of 62 off 38 balls, rescued his side from the jaws of defeat on and leveled the five-match series 2-2 in Johannesburg on Friday.

Describing Morris' performance as 'massive', De Villiers believes that the knock like that would help in shaping his career, Sport24 reported.

The swashbuckling batsman further insisted that the entire team were well aware about Morris' capability, adding that his knock would have surely lifted his level and boosted his confidence.

Earlier, Morris was included in both the Test and ODI side against England and he was also named in the 15-man squad for next month's World Twenty20 to be played in India.

The two sides will play the final match, a series decider, in Cape Town on Sunday.
