Deepika Padukone has smashed the glass ceiling as an Indian actor by being in the cast of Hollywood film 'xXx - Return of Xander Cage' opposite Vin Diesel.
The entire team along with 'Furious 7' star came to India for a grand premiere.
This has opened doors for many other actors to explore the global cinema in such a big manner.
The actress is overwhelmed with the love and warmth that she has received so far from her fans.
Trade Expert Amul Mohan shares,"I think its a great debut for her in Hollywood films. Not many actors come out with such a good and strongly backed performance. She held her own and we know that very well,"
"The movie released on a saturday instead of friday and is doing great business. It just goes to show how serious she is as an actor and as a performer."
'xXx - Return of Xander Cage' is an American action film directed by D. J. Caruso and written by F. Scott Frazier.
It stars Vin Diesel, Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Kris Wu, Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette and Samuel L. Jackson.
It is the third film in the xXx franchise and a sequel to both xXx (2002) and xXx: State of the Union (2005).
