A delegation of National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) along with a group of children called on Vice President M. Hamid Ansari here today.
The delegation led by Secretary, NFCH Amb. Ashok Sajjanhar, comprised of five children- two each from Assam and Jammu and Kashmir and one from Maharashtra.
The Vice President interacted with the children and wished them good success in their life and called for maintaining communal harmony and national integration in the country.
Communal Harmony Campaign and Fund Raising Week is observed every year from November 19-25 to raise funds for rehabilitation of child victims of communal, caste, ethnic or terrorists violence and promotion of communal harmony, national integration and fraternity.
