The Delhi Government has filed a petition in the High Court seeking the initiation of contempt proceedings against Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief M K Meena for allegedly violating the court's order by removing an SHO of the anti-corruption body.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP Government petition is likely to be heard by the high court on Wednesday.
According to reports, the Delhi Government in its contempt plea said it was constrained to file the contempt petition as Meena had 'wilfully violated' the court's order, which had asked the ACB chief to act in accordance with the law.
