Delhi: Radioactive leak at T3 of IGI airport

A radioactive leak was reported from the cargo area on the Terminal 3 of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International airport here today.

Seven fire tenders have been rushed to the spot and the area has been cordoned off after an alert was issued.

Meanwhile, teams from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are also present at the site.

An examination is underway to ascertain the contents which were spilled from the Air France aircraft.
