DGCA grounds GoAir flight after Chennai airport aerobridge hit ?

A GoAir flight, carrying 168 passengers from Mumbai, hit an aerobridge at Chennai Airport on Friday.

There were no injuries reported from the incident, though a door of the aerobridge was damaged.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed the mishap, saying that it had occurred at 6.35 a.m.

It further stated that the A-320 aircraft has been grounded.

The GoAir 8-305 flight was to leave for Port Blair after a halt in Chennai.

The DGCA has ordered a probe into the incident.
