Manchester United's star winger Angel Di Maria sure is a luxury cars fan and has proved so by collecting expensive cars worth 7,50,000 pounds in the past three months.
Di Maria became British football's most expensive player on moving to Old Trafford from Spanish giants Real Madrid for 59.7 million pounds last summer. And he wasted no time spending some of his reported 3,00,000 pounds-a-week salary on fast cars.
A source revealed that the United lads all love their cars but added that Di Maria has taken it to a new level, the Daily Star reported.
Di Maria treated himself to a Lamborghini Huracan worth 2,50,000 pounds in the run-up to Christmas. He further spent 50,000 pounds on a customized black paint job, complete with red brake calipers to match United's famous shirts, to show his love for his new club.
The source also said that Di Maria is friends with Sergio Aguero at Manchester City and really liked the look of his Lamborghini Aventador, so the Argentine thought why not join the club.
Di Maria then secured a family runabout, purchasing a 90,000 pounds Range Rover Sport, followed by a 1,00,000-pound Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS, which can go from 0-60 miles-per-hour in less than four seconds.
And last week he again hit top gear when he arrived for training in a new 2,50,000-pound Aston Martin Vantage. He also has a 60,000-pound black Corvette Stingray, courtesy of United's shirt sponsors Chevrolet, the report added.
