Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov came back from a set down to beat top seeded David Ferrer 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 and claim his first ATP title in Stockholm on Sunday.
According to Sport24, this was Dimitrov's first victory over the Spaniard in four meetings.
The boyfriend of Russian star Maria Sharapova mixed up his game to ambush the more experienced Ferrer, playing in his 40th final, the report said.
An emotional Dimitrov said after winning that it was a dream come true and everyone had always told me how important a step this was.
The Bulgarian was competing in just his second final.
