After the success of 'Trainspotting 2,' Ewan McGregor continues his golden run in Hollywood by grabbing a major in a Disney movie.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 46-year-old-actor is in talks to star in Disney's live-action film 'Christopher Robin.'
The movie focuses on the child from A.A. Milne's 'Winnie the Pooh' stories.
The 'Fargo' star will play the adult Christopher Robin, who has lost his sense of imagination and is a businessman focused on work and success.
Milne's 'Christopher Robin' was inspired by and named after his own son, Christopher Robin Milne. He wrote about the character in two books, 'Winnie the Pooh' (1926) and 'The House at Pooh Corner' (1928), and other poems.
The studio is bringing Allison Schroeder, an Oscar-nominated screenwriter to have a look at the script.
Alex Ross Perry has written the screenplay, with Tom McCarthy working on a later draft.
Brigham Taylor, producer of 'The Jungle Book,' is producing the project.
