DMRC to get Rs 1,546 cr interest-free loan from Delhi Govt.

The Delhi Cabinet has approved the proposal to provide Rs. 1,546 crores to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) over the next three financial years for its Phase-III.

An official release said that the DMRC had requested that the estimated VAT payable by it for Phase-III project may be paid to it as Interest Free Subordinate Debt long term loan.

It said the AAP-led Government would pay the amount for the three years beginning this financial year.
