Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has said that the U.S. should bar any Muslims from entering the country
According to CNN, Trumps campaign press release stated that Trump has called for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until the country's representatives can 'figure out what is going on'.
After his controversial call for surveillance against all mosques, Trump new shocker comes in the wake of the deadly mass shooting in San Bernardino, California by suspected ISIS sympathisers.
Trump's comments are a far cry from President Barack Obama who had asked the nation, in his recent Oval Office address, to not 'turn against each other' out of fear.
However, Trump's supporters have shown their approval towards his proposal on the social media as well as his rally on Monday.
Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told CNN on that the ban would apply not just to Muslim foreigners looking to immigrate to the U.S., but also to Muslims looking to visit the U.S. as tourists.
However, Trump clarified that his policy would not apply to current Muslims in America.
