Friday witnessed consistent sloganeering and drama in both Houses of Parliament as presiding officers Sumitra Mahajan and P.J. Kurien outrightly rejected the adjournment motions submitted by the opposition Congress Party over a demand for resignation of Cabinet ministers linked to former IPL chief Lalit Modi and the Vyapam scam.

The opposition shouted slogans after the adjournment motions.

The speaker also asked the Congress MPs not to raise playcards in the house.
