After announcing her separation from her third husband Will Kopelman, Drew Barrymore recently spoke out the new direction her life would take.
The 41-year-old actress said in a recent interview that she experienced a really hard time a couple of months ago and kind of knew that life was heading in a new direction, reports News.com.au.
She revealed that at that time she sought advice from an old friend and he told her, "You put one foot in front of the other."
The 'Blended' star said that it was great advice. It's a kind of way in which she wants to live by putting one foot in front of the other.
Barrymore and art dealer Kopelman wed in 2012 and have two daughters Frankie, and Olive.
In a joint statement issued last weekend, Barrymore and Kopelman said that their daughters will remain their top priority.
