South African batsman Faf du Plessis believes that his side could still force a positive result despite rain dampening almost an entire day two of the second Test against West Indies in Port Elizabeth.
South Africa accumulated 289 runs for the loss of three wickets at stumps, with Du Plessis reaching his fourth Test century off the first ball of the day.
Du Plessis said that in a perfect world they would like to bowl them out for 200-250, and then try to set them another score in the vicinity of 400 and bowl them out, Sport24 reported.
Only six overs were bowled on the day two of the second Test at St George's Park.
