Alleged match-fixer Paul Rooy has questioned Holland's 8-1 win over Hungary from behind the bars in Holland, who was handed over to the Dutch authorities after being arrested in Germany for handling stolen works of art.

According to the Mirror, once he has faced those charges, the Germans want to quiz him about allegations of match fixing at major football games in their country.

Rooy claims that he controls a number of footballers in several leading European countries, the report said.

He said that he had heard so many stories about match fixing and gambling but people in charge at the top of the game do not have a clue about what is really going on in football.

Rooy added that he could not wait for the first big investigation, as he does not want people to think that match fixing does not exist because it happens far more than people believe.
