A top US medical official has warned that the Ebola outbreak in West Africa is unlike anything since the emergence of HIV/Aids.
Thomas Frieden, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), warned that a quick global response is required to ensure that the disease does not become "the next Aids," reported the BBC.
The outbreak has claimed more than 3,860 lives in West Africa.
More than 200 health workers are among the victims.
