The police have arrested eight suspected hit-men allegedly belonging to a political party in Karachi on charges of killing.
According to the Dawn, Karachi-South DIG Jamil Ahmed said that the suspects had 'confessed' to killing at least one dozen people in different parts of the city.
The suspects Mohammed Kalam Bihari; Kamran, alias Kami; Adnan, alias Audi; Farhan; Haider Aijaz; Shahbaz; Syed Shahroz and Ateeb were detained in the Lyari and Malir areas, Ahmed said.
He added that many Kalashnikovs, one car, two pistols and several mobile phones were seized from their belonging.
The hit men have allegedly killed people in Orangi Town, Pakistan Bazaar, Iqbal Market, Zaman Town, North Nazimabad and Nazimabad areas.
