Emma Thompson recently joked about herself in an award function speech that she regrets over taking small roles in big studio movies.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the British actress jokingly said in a speech at the British Independent Film Awards that she have been with studios and have tried very hard not to get sucked in but she demanded smaller trailers.

The 55-year-old actress received Richard Harris Award for outstanding contribution to British film at the British Independent Film Awards hosted by Simon Bird.
