England batsman Kevin Pietersen has reportedly posted a set of photos of himself lying by a pool and sunning and promoting a clothing brand, looking like he is without a care in the world, which has angered England cricket fans.
The response to his online photo album was hostile, with one user telling him to 'practice batting instead of wasting time sleeping in the sun', while another called him a 'selfish idiot' and told him to 'focus on how to face Johnson, Harris Siddle and Lyon', the report added.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that before the fourth Ashes Test at the MCG, England's box-office batsman said repeatedly that the tourists were 'hurting' after surrendering the Ashes in the first three matches of the winter series.
However, Pietersen seemed to coping well with the 'pain' of defeat to Australia and his own poor form, which is evident in the photos that he posted of himself lying on the poolside sans shirt and in the other set, promoting clothing brand Nena and Pasadena, founded by AFL star Lance Franklin.
