Ensure normal airline operations are not hit at Patna airport: DGCA tells charter operators

Ahead of the Bihar Assembly polls, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has directed all chartered flight operators to ensure that normal airline operations are not hit at Patna airport.

The direction comes as Bihar's only operational airport at Patna has limited capacity.

Chartered flight operators have also been asked to make sure helicopters carrying VIPs and VVIPs do not land too close to the venue of rallies.
