Asserting that there is no problem with ban on slaughter houses, the Forest Department of Uttar Pradesh's Etawah Wild Life Safari Park on Friday said the lions are fed with goat's meet.
"We have no issues with ban on slaughter houses. Lions of the Wild Life Safari Park are fed with goat's meat," Forest Ranger Jawahar Lal told ANI.
The Forest Ranger informed that there are currently eight lions in the park that are healthy and active.
"We have no problem in the change in government of Uttar Pradesh," he added.
Meat supplier Haji Nizamuddin Kureshi expressing grief over ban on slaughter houses said, "We have been given contract to supply buffalo meet for last three years. But the sudden ban on slaughter houses has negatively affected as the lions do not consume much of goat's meet.
