Ex-caddy of Woods says American has lost 'intimidation factor' needed to win Majors

A golf caddy, who used to work alongside world number one Tiger Woods, has said that his former employer has lost his intimidation factor.

New Zealander Steve Williams, who helped Woods win all but one of his 14 major titles, was fired by the 17-time Major winner in 2011 after his slide down the world rankings following the revelation that he had a string of extra-marital affairs.

According to Sport24, Williams, who now carries the bags of Australian world number two Adam Scott, said that Woods has failed to win another Major since 2011 as he had lost his intimidation factor.

Williams added that he had yet to reconcile with the world number one, but hopes to one day.

Williams switched to Scott after his dismissal, and has helped transform him into a major champion and the heir apparent to Woods' world number one ranking, although he believes it is now his time to slow down after a career that has also seen him caddy for Greg Norman and Raymond Floyd.
