Ex-cricketer Chetan Chauhan believes that skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was not the only person to blame for India's loss against Bangladesh, holding the whole team responsible for the defeat.

"The players looked tired and it seemed that they just wanted to complete the formality. I would not blame the captain alone but the entire team and the entire management for the debacle against Bangladesh," Chauhan said.

Dhoni has been facing criticism from all corners after the humiliating defeat in Bangladesh and earlier offered to step down from as captain.

"Dhoni is saying this thing because he wants to own the responsibility as he was the leader of the team and it was always that the captain is more responsible and more accountable," Chauhan opined. "We should not forget the laurels that he has brought to the country and thus he should continue till T-20World Cup and then see how he fares," he added.

India lost the first two ODIs against Bangladesh, with the hosts seemingly making light work of the higher-ranked team. They two teams play the final match of the bilateral series on June 24.
