Former Indian badminton player Dinesh Khanna has expressed his pleasure over the victory of Ajay Jayaram in Dutch Open Grand Prix, saying that the victory would serve as a great morale booster for the upcoming tournaments.
The former Asian Champion, however, admitted that the Indian shuttler was not playing well some months ago but now has regained his form.
Dinesh further lauded the 28-year-old, saying that the latter had also performed well in Korea Open where he had beaten one of the top players of the world, Victor Axelsen.
Jayaram continued his rich vein of form as he defeated Estonia's Raul Must 21-12, 21-18 in 34 minutes to defend his Dutch title. (ANI)
