Former National Rugby League (NRL) player Ben Darcy has been charged in a cocaine distribution ring bust in Sydney.
The 28-year-old has been arrested for his alleged role in a "dial-a-dealer" type drug service, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
Darcy was arrested on November 25 after officers allegedly discovered cocaine and 30,000 USD in a property in Underwood St, Paddington.
The former Sydney Roosters junior has been in front of the courts various times for different offences.
Earlier in 2013, Darcy was investigated in a drug bust when Australian Customs officials allegedly found incriminating messages on his phone which revealed that two of his close friends had been supplied with illegal performance-enhancing substances.
He was also detained in 2011 for smuggling 36 baby python snakes into the country.
Darcy for now has been granted a conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on January 23.
