Lehmann asserted that the transition of the new team would be 'pretty easy', adding that he is excited for the series, Sport 24 reported.
Meanwhile, speaking on the newcomers like Cameron Bancroft and Andrew Fekete, the Australian coach said that he felt delighted to have young players in the squad.
He, however, said that it would be exciting to see how they face players like Mitchell Johnson and Mitchell Starc at training.
Australia will be missing the services of veteran wicketkeeper Brad Haddin, opening batsman Chris Rogers and all-rounder Shane Watson in the upcoming series.
The hosts will play three Tests against New Zealand, starting from November 5 at Brisbane.
