The resignation of the director of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML), Mahesh Rangarajan has been accepted.
Addressing a press conference in the national capital today, Minister of State for Culture (Independent Charge), Mahesh Sharma said that the resignation letter dated September 16, 2015 has been accepted by the Executive Council of the NMML, headed by the Chairman Prof. Lokesh Chandra.
The Minister disclosed that following the acceptance of the resignation, the process of searching and appointing a new director of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library will now begin.
