Facebook has announced changes in the Newsfeed to make it easier for users to filter posts and see the information they are really interested in.
According to thenextweb.com, the new tool in News Feed Preferences allows the users to select specific friends or pages so the users always see their posts.
The users can also select a specific person to see any new posts they have shared since they last logged on. Under these the regular News Feeds are shown.
Also, there is an option to view the most popular people, groups and Pages that the users follow based on their previous week's activity and controls to easily unfollow any of them directly. It also keeps a list of them just in case the users want to re-follow.
Facebook said the users can access News Feed Preferences by tapping 'More' in the bottom-right corner of the iOS app. The update will also be released for Android and on desktop in the coming weeks.
