Famed production manager Abby Singer dies at 96

Abby Singer, veteran production manager and assistant director, has passed away due to cancer. He was 96.

The American filmmaker breathed his last at the Motion Picture and Television Country House in California, Contactmusic reported.

Singer's name was used as a lingo in the movie industry for calling the second-to-last shot of the day.

He had worked as an assistant director on various films, including 'Death of a Salesman', 'The Guns of Fort Petticoat' and 'A Lawless Street'.
