To celebrate veteran singer Kishore Kumar's 86th birthday his fans have trended hashtag '#KishoreKumar' on social networking site Twitter.
Remembering the 'Dil Kya Kare' hit-maker on the big day one fan tweeted, "Chalte Chalte Mere Yeh Geet Yaad Rakhna,Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. Happy birthday to great legendary singer #KishoreKumar"
While another wrote, "A legend was born today!!! #KishoreKumar the one and only Jack of all trades and master of all too.. #HappyBirthday"
Born in a wealthy and highly sophisticated family, Kishore da kick-started his career in the field of acting, with 'Shikari' in 1946 and in 1948 the legendary singer sang a song for director Khemchand Prakash in a film.
With his demise in 1987, Kumar left the world with his melodious memories such as 'Aanewala Pal,' 'Chalte Chalte,' 'Yeh Sham Mastani' and 'Aap Ki Ankhon Mein.
