England pace bowler Steven Finn has revealed that swashbuckling batsman Brendon McCullum made him 'feel like a wally' during the Eoin Morgan-led side's embarrassing eight wicket defeat to New Zealand in their World Cup group stage tie in Wellington.

Finn conceded massive 49 runs off his twelve deliveries in the embarrassingly short Cricket World Cup match, which saw McCullum smacking six sixes off Finn's bowling.

McCullum amassed a brisk 77 runs off just 25 balls, guiding his team to an eight-wicket victory in the 13th over itself.

Recalling his performance, Finn said that it isn't a nice feeling when one's delivery is disappearing over his head, adding that one feel like a wally out there, Stuff.co.nz reported.

The right-arm fast bowler further said that he was obviously very disappointed, gutted and embarrassed about the way it did happen, insisting that it would happen again and they would have to find a way of dealing with it.

England will next face Sri Lanka on Sunday in Wellington.

Finn added that he had bowled well throughout the trip and had taken wickets, claiming that he didn't feel too downhearted by it.

Finn insisted that he has to put it to the back of his mind then and was thinking about the next three games.
