An FIR has been filed by a home-buyer against Jayaprakash Infratech's Aman Township for failing to give possession of their flats despite depositing the required money.
The FIR has been filed against Jayprakash Gaur, Sameer Gaur, Sunny Gaur and some other top officials of the company.
The case was registered on Saturday and has been booked under the sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code at the Knowledge Park Police Station in Greater Noida.
The buyers had booked their flat in 2009. The provisional allotment letter was given to them in 2010 and the builder had promised them possession in 2012.
"It's a huge scam", said one of the home-buyers Navneet Kasana, adding "we want the SIT to probe the scam and the scamsters."
The agitators are now planning to meet Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow.
