Andrew Flintoff says will high-five his wife if their daughter eventually settles down with a bloke like Alastair Cook, whom the former England skipper believes has lot of 'strength of character'.
Backing under-fire Cook, Flintoff said that he would like people to start getting behind the misfiring Test skipper, instead of being negative as he doesn't deserve such remarks, the BBC reported.
Following England's disappointing 2014 campaign, Cook was removed from the role of one-day captaincy prior to the World Cup.
The skipper's batting woes continued in the ongoing first Test against West Indies as he could only manage scores of just 11 and 13 runs in two innings.
The former England captain also said that Cook has got a lot of resolve and strength in character, and he would come back.
