Footy WAG Kylie Brown wants to help other women through postnatal depression after her own two year battle.

A traumatic birth, which saw baby Olivia finally delivered via vacuum extraction following a long and painful labour, left Kylie physically and emotionally scarred.

The physical trauma was readily fixed, but the mental anguish was not so easily identified or resolved.

It wasn't until Olivia was 18 months old that the AFL star Jonathon Brown's wife finally recognised the demon she was battling was postnatal depression, the Courier Mail reported.

Kylie's relentless drive to conceal her true feelings left her with a debilitating dizziness that led her to a string of medical experts in an effort to find the cause.

She had three CT scans, three MRIs, two hearing and balance tests, saw three ear, nose and throat specialists, a balance specialist, two acupuncturists, two naturopaths, a Chinese doctor and three GPs, who discovered some potential causes such as a sinus infection and a broken tooth.

She even went to the extreme of looking up a condition she'd seen on TV drama Grey's Anatomy and asking her doctor to order tests for the rare condition, but in the end it was finally attributed to anxiety-related PND.

Now, Kylie has started a blog in which she reveals about how she battled post natal depression.
