Formula one team Force India has backed out of the first pre-season test, saying that decision to withdraw was taken on account of limited learning opportunities.

Earlier, the team had indicated that they would be unable to test their 2015 car at Spain's Jerez track.

A spokesman said that the decision was taken at the end of last week due to limited learning opportunities, the BBC reported.

However, he suggested that the team would be at the second and third tests in Barcelona, saying that they were planning to go there but they decided it was better to focus on Barcelona, the report added.
