Founding Years Learning Solutions, the parent company of KLAY Schools and The Little Company on Thursday announced acquiring of Gurgaon-based Intellitots Learning Pvt Ltd. in a Business Transfer Agreement.
With the NCR region representing a key growth area for Founding Years in the next two years, this acquisition will help consolidate their leadership position in the city and provide a multitude of offerings to parents and corporate partners alike.
Through this acquisition, Founding Years, KLAY's parent entity, now has an expanded footprint of over 95 centers pan-India, further strengthening its position as the largest non-franchise chain of early childcare centers in the country.
Intellitots was founded in 2008 with five premium preschool and daycares centers in Gurgaon with an enrollment of over 400 children. Intellitots has been awarded in preschool education awards over the years.
The chain broke new grounds with neuroscience based research in the area of early years learning in collaboration with Dr Hardiman of John Hopkins School of Education.
"KLAY has always believed in strengthening its position not just in terms of quantity, but also quality. Intellitots is a premium and well-established brand in the Gurgaon-NCR region. It was built around the importance of using scientific methods to aid in early years of a child's development. This will give KLAY an edge and add value to us not only in Gurgaon, but across the country," said founder and CEO Founding Years Learning Solutions, Priya Krishnan.
