Four policemen were killed and eight others injured in a landmine blast in Naxal-hit Chattarpur village of Jharkhand's Palamu District on Wednesday evening.
Jharkhand Director General of Police D.K. Pandey told ANI that four policemen, including the driver of the mini-bus in which they were travelling, were killed in a Maoist-triggered land mine blast in Kalapahar area.
He said two policemen, including the driver, were killed on the spot while the other two succumbed to their injuries on their way to a hospital.
The injured have been shifted to a local hospital.
