Frank Miller working on 'The Dark Knight Returns' new sequel

Comics legend Frank Miller is reportedly penning a new sequel to 'The Dark Knight Returns'.

DC Entertainment announced that Miller is returning to Batman to write the next installment of what can now be regarded as comics' Dark Knight trilogy, 'The Dark Knight III: The Master Race', the Verge reported.

The 58-year-old writer in the official statement that Batman remained his favorite comic book hero and a sequel to 'Dark Knight' was going to be daunting but they will do their best.

Miller is best known for his dark comic book stories and graphic novels such as 'Ronin', 'Daredevil: Born Again', 'The Dark Knight Returns', 'Sin City' and '300'.
