Bosses and unions representing more than a million white-collar employees have signed a contract to adopted a strictly enforced 35-hour working week.
The deal is a legally enforceable deal meaning workers should not be contacted once they have left their office, the Independent reported.
The country is the only country to have adopted such a rule.
