Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir will captain the Delhi Daredevils squad during the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
"I am more excited than I have ever been," Gambhir said on his return to the IPL franchise based in his home city of Delhi.
Gambhir had earlier led the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for seven years in the IPL. He also led the franchise to two IPL titles in 2012 and 2014.
The 36-year-old was released by KKR and he was bought by Delhi Daredevils for Rs 2.8 crore at the IPL player auction in January this year.
The IPL 2018 will begin from April 7.
