The fantasy epic, 'Game of Thrones,' has taken the Emmy Award nominations by a storm this year, bagging a total of 24 nominations across several categories.
The TV series has secured the most number of nominations than any other show, reported the BBC.
American Horror Story: Freak Show occupied the second slot by bagging 19 nominations, followed by Olive Kitteridge at 13.
House of Cards, Mad Men were up for 11 nominations while Downton Abbey and Wolf Hall got eight.
